Boise Art Museum Field Trip

Our class’s field trip to the Boise Art Musem was a huge success. The children really seemed to enjoy the comic strip exhibit and seemed to be inspired. I myself was inspired to create a way to integrate comics into our Language Arts time. They children did a great job with representing the school throughout the day, whether we were at the Museum, in the park, or riding the bus they were great representatives of our school.

Student Written Newsletter

The children have been writing newsletter rough drafts, we will hopefully get them finalized soon and posted on our class blog.   

Family Goal Night

FAMILY GOAL NIGHT SCHEDULE:

Choose from two session choices for you and your child to attend with their teacher.

SESSION ONE    6:00 – 6:50PM 

  SESSION TWO 7:00 – 7:50PM

Each session will start on time, so please don’t miss any of it! 

These will be held in your child’s classroom. 

This is a required event for each student to attend with a family member.  It helps families understand our DaVinci educational methods and learn more ways to become involved with their child’s education.  This event has been designed by teachers as a “great start” for the school year to meet your child’s teacher and see their classrooms.  It is an important, informative and fun event for families and their DaVinci students.  Each teacher will have two sessions available to accommodate your schedule and number of children attending. Pick the session that works best for your schedule:  6:00-6:50 or 7:00-7:50. 

We look forward to having you join us for an evening which will truly make a difference for both you and your child!
