Boise Art Museum Field Trip 9/30

I am so excited that so many parents volunteered to come along with us to the Boise Art Museum. I am so sorry that the BAM only allows the school to have a couple of parents come in free. Please remember to bring your money for the bus and that we will be leaving at 10:30 and coming back at 3:20.

Student Written Newsletter

The children will soon be writing their own newsletter. It is a very fun process that I enjoy doing with them so much. Also, I am trying to set up a blog that will have all of these terrific newsletters archived and easy for you to access.

What have we been up to?

Our class has been working on graphing in math, team building, reading our reader’s theater scripts, assessments, making murals, setting goals, writing poems and just having as much fun as possible while still getting our school work done.

School Work/Homework Policy

The students will sometimes come home with some work to do for homework. A majority of the time it is because they were absent, or they have not used their time wisely and need to catch up to the class. Occasionally I will send some work as “extra credit” work that they have the option to do or not do it is up to them.

Family Goal Night

The Family Goal night is 10/13 from 6:00 – 8:00 we need everyone to come and join us this night. You will be setting goals with the children, getting information for their letter, and making some great Goal Bookmarks.

Community Circle

Our schools community circle is at 10:00 a.m. this year instead of the usual 9:00 a.m. and our class is having their first one on Wednesday 10/5. Please come and watch your child perform in front of the whole school!!

Amazing Group

I am so impressed with all of my brilliant students!! They are an amazing class and I truly appreciate everything you all do for them.

Beginning of The Year

The school year has begun and is in full swing! Our class is going great and the new building is quite amazing!
